Caterham F1 could race in Abu Dhabi
One of the administrators of the Caterham team expressed his hopes of seeing the Leafield team present on the grid in Abu Dhabi for the final race of the 2014 Formula 1 season.

Since being placed in administration, the Caterham F1 team has been managed by administrators. The team missed the United States Grand Prix last weekend and will also miss the Brazilian Grand Prix, taking place this weekend at Interlagos.
But as uncertainty looms for the final race of the season, Finbarr O’Connell, one of the team’s administrators, told Reuters that the British-Malaysian team should be present in Abu Dhabi: “We are hopeful that we will be in Abu Dhabi. I think I have enough confidence now to say that I would be surprised if we don’t race in Abu Dhabi. I am really optimistic about the team’s future.”
The race to be held at the Yas Marina circuit on November 23 could therefore see all the cars on the grid as a reminder, the Marussia team also hopes to be present for the last race of the season.
The team Caterham F1 is present on the list of teams that have applied for a license for the 2015 F1 championship and O’Connell has stated that the application was submitted without any payment: « We are trying to sell a motorsport team and clearly a new owner wants to compete next season. »
