Towards the abandonment of standing starts after safety cars and double points?
The sporting regulations of Formula 1 in 2015 could see the disappearance of two measures: double points - applied this season - and standing restarts after a safety car that were to be introduced next year.

The German publication Auto Motor und Sport indicated that the F1 Commission would have decided to abandon double points for the last race of the season as well as standing starts after the safety car.
The F1 Commission is a body composed of all stakeholders in the discipline – FIA, commercial rights holders, teams, sponsors, engine manufacturers, suppliers, etc. – responsible for proposing regulatory changes ahead of the World Motor Sport Council meeting, which will be held in early December.
The body is said to have made several decisions for the upcoming season. Among them is the abandonment of double points for the last GP of the season, implemented from this season, but which did not convince both minds and on the track.
There would be, according to AMuS, the cancellation of the standing starts after the safety car had exited, which had been adopted in the summer, again without convincing most observers and drivers who feared for their safety.
Latest measure that would have been postponed: radio messages from the pit to the driver would ultimately not be limited, as initially proposed this summer.
All this remains nevertheless subject to an official confirmation that should occur in the coming days.
