Max Verstappen reveals his number for next season
Next season, Max Verstappen will team up with Carlos Sainz Jr at Toro Rosso. The Spaniard has already announced that he will sport the number 55. The Dutchman did the same this Friday.

Max Verstappen, 17 years old, will race next season for team Toro Rosso alongside Carlos Sainz Jr.
Like any newcomer to the discipline, he had to choose a number that would be his for the entirety of his F1 career. The Dutchman’s choice fell on number 33.
On Twitter, the son of the former Benetton or Arrows driver Jos Verstappen explained his choice: “Friends, I’m ready to announce my number for the next season. It took me some time to decide but I’ve chosen it. Since I was young, I’ve raced with this number. So I thought it would be nice to continue it in F1 as well! #33”
Uniform numbers are popular among Formula 1 drivers as 11 is Sergio Pérez’s number, 22 belongs to Jenson Button, 44 is Lewis Hamilton’s, 55 is Carlos Sainz Jr’s, 77 is Valtteri Bottas’s, and 99 used to be Adrian Sutil’s.
