Steve Nielsen leaves Toro Rosso
After just two years with Toro Rosso, Steve Nielsen - who was serving as the sporting director - has decided to leave the Italian team.

Steve Nielsen is no longer the sporting director of the Toro Rosso team. The Briton has decided to leave the Italian team, which he joined at the beginning of 2013.
Nielsen, who has a long career in F1 behind him, having worked for Arrows, Bennetton/Renault, Tyrrell, Lotus, and Caterham before Toro Rosso, did not wish to elaborate on the reasons for his departure. When questioned by Autosport and GPUpdate, the Faenza team also chose not to comment on the matter.
The Toro Rosso team has also not indicated who could replace him to work with their rookie duo in 2015: Max Verstappen (No. 33) and Carlos Sainz Jr (No. 55), who replace Daniil Kvyat – gone to Red Bull Racing – and Jean-Eric Vergne, not retained.
