Since 2013, Wolff has regularly taken the wheel of the British team’s single-seaters to gain experience. In 2013, she conducted straight-line aerodynamic tests, and last year, she drove at Silverstone and Hockenheim during FP1. This year, she will participate in the first free practice sessions of the Spanish and British Grand Prix.

“Our goal this year is to build on the successes of 2014,” explains Wolff. “I trained hard this winter and I have never been this sharp. I am therefore ready for this new season.”

Wolff’s activities will not stop at these two FP1 sessions as she will also drive on one of the two days of private testing that will take place at the Red Bull Ring after the Austrian Grand Prix.

As a test driver, I will have a bit more time in the FW37 and this will help improve my work in the simulator. All drivers in the Williams team are working together to make the most of the car and we are ready to give it our all for this 2015 season.
