Marciello will drive during FP1 at Sepang
Confirmed during the winter as a test driver for Sauber, Raffaele Marciello will make his debut during a Grand Prix weekend at the Malaysian Grand Prix.
On March 27th, the Italian driver and member of the Ferrari Driver Academy will take the wheel of the Sauber C34 on the Sepang circuit. Marciello has already been seen driving a Formula 1 car as he participated in the tests that took place in Abu Dhabi at the end of the 2014 season behind the wheel of the Ferrari F14-T.
After winning the Formula 3 Championship, Marciello made his GP2 debut last year. Fast but inconsistent, the Italian finished eighth in the overall standings. He decided to continue in the category, but will be changing teams as he will drive for Trident Racing.
