Sauber F1 and Van der Garde close to an agreement?
While the tension seemed to be at its peak at the start of the Australian Grand Prix, the situation appears to be easing, thanks to the discussions between Sauber and Giedo van der Garde.

After the threats of asset seizure against Sauber, a new hearing will be held this Saturday in Melbourne. However, an agreement between the two parties seems close.
It is the British journalist Adam Cooper who, on his blog, reveals that discussions are underway between the representatives of Sauber and those of Giedo van der Garde to avoid the need for intervention by bailiffs. Both parties want the C34 to be able to run tomorrow and on Sunday.
The attorney for the Dutch driver explained to the Court that constructive discussions between the parties have taken place and will continue. Judge Croft, who has been overseeing the case for several days, indicated to both parties his hope for serious discussions about resolving the dispute through an agreement.
Sauber voluntarily chose not to take part in Free Practice 1 due to the risk of a legal procedure, but both drivers were able to take to the track during Free Practice 2, demonstrating a relaxation of the situation.
All these people will meet again on Saturday morning, 9:30 a.m. local time, in front of the Court.
