Horner: Ferrari’s victory shows that anything is possible
Christian Horner believes that Ferrari's performance shows that anything is possible and that Mercedes can be beaten. Furthermore, he congratulates Sebastian Vettel on his victory.
Red Bull is struggling at the start of the season, but Christian Horner remains impressed by Ferrari’s victory in the last race.
However, Renault and Red Bull are in conflict, with the latter believing that Renault is not providing a reliable and fast engine for the RB11. After the Australian Grand Prix, Christian Horner asked for help from the FIA to slow down Mercedes’ domination.
The victory of Sebastian Vettel was praised by Toto Wolff and Christian Horner. Although Red Bull was outpaced by the Toro Rosso team during the race, Horner remains optimistic for the future: « This shows that anything is possible. Ferrari has done a good job, and things can change very quickly. We must focus on our problems and solve them for the upcoming races »
Christian Horner also congratulated his former driver after his victory for the website Crash.net. According to him, Vettel’s performance is not surprising: « From a personal point of view, it’s great to see Seb back to winning ways. He managed the race calmly, he managed the tires well. He only made two pit stops while others couldn’t. Obviously, the Ferrari had the best tire management during the weekend in this heat. I am very happy for him. »
