Jolyon Palmer in action in Barcelona
The reigning GP2 champion will be in action in Barcelona in the Lotus E23. The young English driver will most likely replace Romain Grosjean. He is eager to get back into the Lotus.

Probably bad news for Romain Grosjean, who will likely have to give up his seat to Jolyon Palmer during the first practice session of the first European Grand Prix of the season, in Barcelona. The young English driver will have the opportunity to continue his learning at the wheel of the Enstone team, after a test session in China and another in Bahrain.
During these test periods, the 2014 GP2 champion achieved good results alongside Pastor Maldonado. In Bahrain, Palmer was only four-tenths of a second behind the Venezuelan.
In Autosport, the young English driver spoke: « I am happy to be back in the car in Barcelona. It’s nice to be in action on the track. I had the opportunity to discover the car during the official preseason tests in February. After driving the car three weeks ago in Bahrain, I am already looking forward to starting this weekend ».
During the Spanish Grand Prix, Lotus will aim to maintain a positive momentum after Romain Grosjean’s 7th place finish at the Sakhir circuit.
