Red Bull finds their smile again at Silverstone
After two setbacks in Canada and Austria, Red Bull seems to be truly back this weekend. Both Daniil Kvyat and Daniel Ricciardo are showing a satisfactory pace and should be able to aim for the top 10 without any issues.

The Red Bulls achieved two group finishes in the top 10 this Friday at Silverstone: 7th and 8th during the first session, the Austrian cars then placed 5th and 6th. The fast corners of the track and the latest developments seem to suit the vice-world champions perfectly, who are coming off two failed weekends in Canada, as well as in Austria.
Daniil Kyvat is pleased with the behavior of his car but still refuses to make any predictions: « I felt comfortable in the car today and we successfully completed our program. It’s looking good for us so far, but it’s only Friday and we still have the whole weekend ahead. It’s too early to make a prediction. We have a few updates, and they are providing us more or less with what we need. I think we’ll know more about our pace tomorrow. »
After his Austrian ordeal, Daniel Ricciardo is looking forward to a much less challenging weekend: “We had quite a good pace today, and I think we’re not too bad at the moment. Our positions are relatively good and I think we can still gain a little more lap time. We want to extract a bit more from the car and if we can improve where we can for tomorrow, the situation will be even better.”
