Bahrain Grand Prix Qualifying Live
The 22 drivers gather under the starry night of Bahrain, at the Sakhir circuit, for the second qualifying session of the 2016 season. As usual, Motorsinside.com brings you the full and live coverage of the qualifications.

After the flop in Melbourne, both spectators and Formula 1 participants will closely watch the unfolding of the qualifying session of the Bahrain Grand Prix.
To everyone’s surprise, the much-criticized system has been retained due to a lack of unanimity in the change: the heads of Red Bull and Force India voted against the proposed changes. As a result, F1 remains under the last voted regulation, with this progressive elimination, the last driver in the current standings set aside every 1:30 during Q1, Q2, and Q3.
From a purely sporting perspective, we therefore hope for a much more intense show than two weeks ago, especially during Q3! Especially since a question remains after the three Free Practice sessions. Will the Mercedes team keep the Pole Position?
Dominant on Friday, Rosberg and Hamilton were this time outpaced early in the afternoon by the two Ferraris during the last practice session. Under the sun, Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Räikkönen symbolically secured the top two spots on the leaderboard, ahead of Rosberg and Hamilton. However, the night and the cooler temperatures are likely to favor the reigning World Champion team!
Behind this formidable quartet, everything remains open between the Williams, Toro Rosso, and even the Red Bull or Haas. The day/night alternation brings an exciting uncertainty regarding the battle for the places of honor, in which rookie Stoffel Vandoorne, participating in his second weekend of the season, can very well take part.
So, let’s get started with this qualifying session on the Sakhir circuit!
