Haas F1 Team celebrates its first top 10 in qualifying
After a particularly successful first race in Melbourne, Haas F1 Team continues to smile with the very encouraging 9th and 13th places of Romain Grosjean and Esteban Gutierrez in qualifying.

Qualified at the gates of Q1, Romain Grosjean is nevertheless satisfied with his fine ninth place, especially since he will be able to choose his tires at the start and thus attempt a more daring strategy. *Our position is better than expected*, the Frenchman congratulated himself. *Everyone worked brilliantly. (…) Every time we go on the track, we learn more. I am very proud of my guys.*
Esteban Gutierrez did not disappoint in Bahrain either, finishing two tenths behind his teammate: « “It was a very tight and fiercely contested qualifying for us today. (…) Reaching Q2 is a fantastic performance. (…) I had a lot of traffic in Q2, so it wasn’t ideal. However, the most important thing for us is to focus on the race and score points.” »
Haas F1 Team will therefore attempt to score points for the second time in two races this Sunday in Bahrain. The speed of the 2016 Ferrari engine and Romain Grosjean’s usual excellent tire management should certainly help.
