Haas F1 will also present its single-seater on February 26 in Barcelona
The American Haas F1 Team has just revealed the launch date for its 2017 car: it will be on February 26 in Barcelona, the same day as Red Bull and Toro Rosso.

The young team, which joined the Formula 1 World Championship grid last season, will unveil its Ferrari-powered VF-17 on the eve of the start of winter testing, on February 26 at the Catalan circuit.
At Haas, the year will be very important to see where the team stands in the hierarchy after a successful first season of learning. The challenge will be significant for the American team, which had to design two radically different cars two seasons in a row. The task may be eased by the partnership the team has with Ferrari, which supplies some of the parts, as well as the existing partnership with Dallara on the chassis side.
Gene Haas, owner of the eponymous team, promised continuous development of the car, something that wasn’t possible in 2016 in order to allow time for designing the 2017 car. This lack of development and brake issues had caused the structure to drop in the hierarchy, but the points gained at the start of the season allowed them to maintain a strong eighth place in the championship.
The launch date of the VF-17 was announced on the team’s Twitter account:

From the drivers’ side, Romain Grosjean will again be part of the team as the leader after scoring all the points for Haas last season. Alongside him, the Danish driver Kevin Magnussen, coming from Renault, will be joining. He replaces Esteban Gutiérrez who did not convince his employer to keep him for another season.
