Force India turns pink this season
The Force India team's single-seaters will be sporting an all-new, predominantly pink livery this season. The team has signed a partnership agreement with water treatment specialist BWT.

Force India will change the decoration of its cars by prominently featuring a pink color as part of signing a long-term agreement with the Austrian company BWT, a European leader in water treatment.
This change will radically differ from the black and green-gray livery displayed at its launch. It is the first time the Austrian company is involved in Formula 1 sponsorship. BWT also sponsors one of the Mercedes teams in DTM, specifically the car of Lucas Auer, nephew of Gerhard Berger and a race winner in the discipline. The partnership with the Silverstone-based team will also be reflected on the helmets of Sergio Pérez and Esteban Ocon.
Vijay Mallya, president and founder of the team, reacted to the news: « The arrival of BWT in Formula 1 is huge news and represents one of the most important partnerships in our ten-year history. It demonstrates that we have become a recognized team with our solid results and completes a strong commercial performance over the winter. »
The Indian shows enthusiasm when mentioning this change: « For 2017 our cars will be sporty with a new scheme of vibrant colors and an elegant matte finish. Changing the color of our cars is an indication of the strength of this new partnership and a true statement of intent from BWT as it begins its relationship with F1. »
BWT President Andreas Weißenbacher adds: « The collaboration with Sahara Force India is an important element of our brand globalization strategy and will help raise awareness of our brand worldwide. We share with Formula 1, the premier league of motorsport, the passion that we show every day in trying to achieve the highest possible standards for our elixir of life, H2O, which allows us to meet quality, health, safety, and hygiene requirements and to stimulate the development of new technologies. »
The partnership with BWT will be reinforced by the pink helmets of @SChecoPerez & @OconEsteban complementing the car https://t.co/E8z2yOcGuh pic.twitter.com/iW3CoZ7M4S
