Red Bull poaches a sponsor from Force India
Red Bull will benefit from a new partnership for 2019 with W66.com, a very popular online gaming site in China.

In 2019, Red Bull Racing will begin a new chapter in its history as the Austrian team will part ways with its engine supplier Renault, ending a 12-year partnership, to turn to Honda.
Another element of the team’s renewal is the non-renewal of Daniel Ricciardo’s contract with Renault, even though the Australian had spent five seasons with the Red Bulls.
It is therefore with the aim of showing a real change that she signs a major partnership with W66.com, an extremely popular online gaming site in China with nearly 120 million users. The brand’s logo will appear on the nose of the single-seater. Although access to the site is almost impossible in Europe, it remains one of the leaders in the sector.
Note that the Chinese site founded in 2008 is not a new face in the paddocks since its logo has been visible for a few years on the Force India cars. However, it would be logical for W66.com to focus exclusively on its partnership with Red Bull and end the one with the former Indian team.
The director of Red Bull Racing, Christian Horner, joyfully welcomes the Chinese online gaming site: « We are pleased to announce our partnership with W66.com. They are joining us at a time when Formula 1 is expanding into the world of online video games, and the team is beginning an exciting new chapter! »
