Schumacher arrives at Ferrari
Same personal sponsor, same colors, and now the same team: Mick Schumacher is increasingly following in his father's footsteps by becoming a driver for the Ferrari Driver Academy.

The story can only be beautiful and celebrated. Five years after the dramatic accident of Michael Schumacher, his son joins the team that made his legend, namely Scuderia Ferrari, as a member of its development unit at the Ferrari Driver Academy.
For millions of fans, the name Schumacher is colored in red. Mick Schumacher has followed in this tradition by winning the F3 title with Prema, whose dominant color is none other than red. The association will be even simpler for the upcoming season as he will embark on his first F2 season with the same team.
For his first statement as the director of Scuderia, Mattia Binotto did not hide the emotional significance of such a decision: « For someone who has known him since his birth, there is no doubt that welcoming him to Ferrari has a particular emotional significance. However, we chose him for his talent and qualities, both human and professional, which have brought him to the forefront despite his young age. »
Ferrari will not lack representatives in F2 as two other drivers will also be present, with Giuliano Alesi at Trident and Callum Ilott in a team that has not yet been revealed.
If Mick Schumacher and Giuliano Alesi are the sons of a former Scuderia driver, Enzo Fittipaldi is the grandson of Emerson. He will make his mark in European F3.
