Red Bull: Gasly and Verstappen unveil their 2019 helmets
The two Red Bull Racing drivers, Pierre Gasly and Max Verstappen, have unveiled their helmets for the 2019 season.

It is in two short videos published on social media that the two Red Bull Racing drivers, Max Verstappen and Pierre Gasly, presented their respective helmets.
The young Dutch prodigy from Red Bull unveiled his new helmet today, which is a radical change from last year’s design. The dominant blue color has given way to white, and gold has also been added. The tiger’s head remains prominently on the top of the helmet. Max Verstappen has chosen a subtle blend between a highly recognizable look and the novelty marked by the new alliance between Red Bull and Honda.
I wanted something completely fresh and different this year and think we pulled it off 👌🏻 Excited to #UnleashTheLion for #Season2019 🦁 pic.twitter.com/a3Kgroyru2

Gasly sticks with a design very close to that of 2019. The light blue of Toro Rosso is replaced by a dark blue reminiscent of Red Bull’s colors. Pierre Gasly, a big fan of football and Zinédine Zidane, has long raced under the number 10. This number will be visible on the top of the helmet next to the French flag. But Gasly also commemorates, as you can see the letter “v” for Valentin, who was Pierre’s best friend. Another tribute is to Jules Bianchi, the Formula 1 shooting star gone too soon.
