Liam Lawson joins the Red Bull program
Liam Lawson has been announced as one of the new members of the Red Bull Junior Team. He notably won the Toyota Series last year.

Each year, Red Bull goes shopping for new recruits, and one of the Red Bull selections has fallen on Liam Lawson. He will join the ranks alongside, among others, Dan Ticktum, Yuki Tsunoda, and Jack Doohan.
The New Zealander is determined to impress Red Bull during the 2019 Formula European Masters season, formerly known as the European Formula 3. The 17-year-old driver will race for Motopark in the colors of the Austrian brand.
This new face of the Red Bull junior driver program is very promising as he won a title in the Toyota Series in 2018 with no less than 11 podiums and 5 victories. Last year, Lawson also raced in the Asian Formula 3 where, despite finishing 8th in the standings, he secured 3 victories.
I’m incredibly proud and excited to announce that I will be joining the @redbull Junior Team in 2019! Thanks to everyone who has helped me and got me to this point in my career! https://t.co/aCUC2uidsx
