Winter Testing Barcelona – Day 4: Hülkenberg Sets the Fastest Time!
Despite a mechanical failure, Hülkenberg recorded the fastest time of the final day of testing for the week. From a running perspective, Giovinazzi and Gasly were the top performers.

After a difficult start for Williams, it is now Kubica’s turn to get behind the wheel of the British brand. For the other teams, the dynamic remains the same. At Mercedes, Renault, Williams, and Haas, both drivers are taking part in this fourth and final day of testing, while for the other teams, it’s the Tuesday driver behind the wheel.

The drivers gave us a few scares this morning during the testing session. Indeed, Lando Norris made a mistake without causing major issues to his car but still triggered a red flag, momentarily disrupting the session. Then it was Hamilton and Kubica who narrowly avoided an accident, with Hamilton almost hitting the rear of the Williams.

At the end of this morning’s tests, we can highlight Leclerc’s impressive performance, having completed no less than 75 laps. Nevertheless, it was Toro Rosso driver Albon who set the fastest time on the track.

Some changes are to be noted on the driver side for the afternoon, with Grosjean, Ricciardo, Hamilton, and Kubica handing over their seats to Magnussen, Hülkenberg, Bottas, and Russell respectively.
Unfortunate victim of a mechanical failure, Hülkenberg only managed 24 laps today, causing the second red flag of the session. It is nevertheless Giovinazzi who wraps up the session with another red flag this week in Barcelona.
Let us commend the impressive performances in terms of laps completed by Giovinazzi, Gasly, and Leclerc, who each accomplished over 138 laps on this day, allowing their respective teams to gather valuable data.
