Jack Aitken at the wheel of the Renault in Bahrain
The Renault F1 Team will have its young protégé, Jack Aitken, drive during the private tests in Bahrain.

Jack Aitken joins the club of Formula 2 drivers who will have the chance to participate in the Bahrain private tests. Among these fortunate members are Mick Schumacher and Nicholas Latifi.
The British-South Korean driver will have the opportunity to drive the R.S.19 this Wednesday. This test day is not the first for Aitken, who drove on the Barcelona circuit last year. This time, he will follow the Australian, Daniel Ricciardo, who also still needs to get accustomed to the behavior of his new single-seater.
This year, Aitken is competing in Formula 2 for his second season. The London native has a lot to prove in 2019 after a disappointing first campaign. Unfortunately for him, the chances of a seat becoming available with the French manufacturer are very slim, and he will surely have to arm himself with patience before securing a spot in the top category of motorsport.
