The drivers are unanimous: driving at full speed through the narrow and glamorous streets of Monaco is something unique in the season!

Each participant indeed dreams of winning this mythical Grand Prix, which celebrates its 90th anniversary. Everyone will wish to experience the emotions of Daniel Ricciardo last year, who brought his Red Bull to the top step of the podium… or rather the princely staircase. Now with Renault, which is not a contender for victory under normal conditions, the Australian can still dream of an “at home” feat, as a resident of the Principality, like many drivers on the grid.

Native of Monaco, Charles Leclerc will be eager to make up for his retirement last year! While with Sauber, the local of the stage ended his race at the exit of the Tunnel, embedded in the rear wing of Brandon Hartley’s Toro Rosso after a brake problem. For his first time with Ferrari, the “little prince of Monaco” will attempt to bring his team out of an increasingly deep crisis, still without a victory since the beginning of the season. If not a victory, a top 3 finish by Leclerc would make history, 69 years after Louis Chiron’s second place, the only Monegasque driver on a podium… in Monaco!

To know everything about this very special Grand Prix, Motors Inside offers you a brief reminder of the important data and outlines the schedule of the different sessions.

Attention, this race is one of the 4 broadcast LIVE and FREE on TF1. As customary in Monaco, please note that the practice sessions take place on Thursday and not on Friday.

In any case, Formula 1 will certainly pay tribute to the memory of Niki Lauda, who passed away on Monday night to Tuesday. This year, the Monaco Grand Prix will definitely have a special meaning, with an additional champion watching over the drivers…
