Christian Estrosi assures that the French GP will be a success
The 2019 edition of the French Grand Prix is set to be a success once again, as stated by Christian Estrosi, President of the GIP organizing the race. Mobility issues have been resolved and ticket sales are reassuring despite the lack of suspense due to Mercedes' domination in the championship.

Present in the Monaco Grand Prix paddock alongside Eric Boullier, Christian Estrosi, mayor of Nice and President of the GIP organizing the French Grand Prix, reassured Formula 1 fans about the upcoming success of the French round at Castellet.
If last year the major issue was the traffic entering and exiting the Circuit Paul Ricard, Christian Estrosi assures that 80% of these problems have been resolved and guarantees that everyone will be able to reach the site without any issues. New free parking lots, shuttles, agreements with neighboring municipalities, and local businesses to avoid traffic flow should significantly ease the congestion.
These problems could have discouraged spectators from attending the second edition of the French Grand Prix, but according to Christian Estrosi, there are reassuring indicators regarding ticket sales. According to him, Charles Leclerc’s great race in Bahrain and the success of roadshows, which will be held in other cities in 2020, played an important role in the occupancy rate of the stands for the 2019 edition.
