Mercedes will have new colors at the German GP
To celebrate its national Grand Prix as well as its 200th in the discipline, the Mercedes team has been authorized to change the colors of its two cars that will take part in the German Grand Prix this weekend.

The weekend of the German Grand Prix always represents an important milestone in the year for the Mercedes team. After the race at Silverstone, which took place near the factory of the reigning world champion team, it is now on Mercedes’ home turf that Formula 1 will set up camp.
To celebrate its presence on national soil and its 200th participation in a Formula 1 Grand Prix, Mercedes has been authorized to deeply modify the colors of the two cars that will be driven by Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas: « This year’s race is a very special event as we are the title sponsor of the Grand Prix and the race will mark the 200th start for Mercedes in Formula 1. We will also celebrate a remarkable anniversary at Hockenheim, the 125th anniversary of motorsport. » stated Toto Wolff, the team’s sporting director, referring to the first automobile race which took place in 1894 in France and was won by a car built by Daimler.
The W10 of both drivers should therefore sport a white livery, as suggested by the team’s teaser posted this morning on its Twitter account.
