Alex Albon brings Thai sponsors to Toro Rosso
Two new sponsors will make a notable entrance at Toro Rosso. These Thai companies are thus supporting their local driver, Alex Albon.

For his debut in F1, Alex Albon managed to charm the paddock with his smile but, more importantly, with his impressive performances on the track. He does not have to be embarrassed about the comparison with his teammate Daniil Kvyat, who is much more experienced.
Traditionally, Toro Rosso has not focused much on attracting external sponsors since its role is primarily to provide additional visibility to Red Bull and to train its young drivers.
However, the arrival of the Thai cider brand Moose is going to somewhat change the game as it will take a massive spot on the team’s single-seaters, on the legs and the engine hood. It is also planned to be integrated on Alex Albon’s helmet.
Khun Varit Yoovidhya, the deputy director of Siam Winery, the owner of the cider brand, stated: “This partnership will support our goal of significantly growing the cider market in Thailand and Asia and making Moose one of the leaders in this sector. Obviously, the brand will use this association to tick the box of corporate social responsibility with a promotional message to never drink and drive.”
Furthermore, another partnership has also been established with PTT, a brand of fuels and lubricants also of Thai origin. This will allow it to become known on the international stage, as explained by Jiraphon Kawswat, its president: « We are proud to support Alex Albon, the only Thai driver in this prestigious international category. This collaboration is part of our efforts to showcase the potential of the Thai people on the international stage. It is a historic opportunity for the leading brand of fuels and lubricants in Thailand to be displayed in front of motorsports fans around the world. »
However, this partnership will be much less visible than Moose’s, as its logo will only be present on the nose of the STR14 and the suits of the two drivers.
For Red Bull, which was historically founded in Thailand, this allows it to strengthen ties with its historical country.
