Charles Leclerc: “Not much positive”
Difficult day for Scuderia Ferrari clearly below expectations. When questioned, the Monegasque discusses a delicate situation for this last meeting before the summer break.

Gloomy day for Ferrari. Apart from Sebastian Vettel being on pace in FP1, both drivers spent the rest of the time relegated to the middle of the field.
6th in FP1 and 7th in FP2, Charles Leclerc discusses a complicated situation: « For now, there’s not much positive from this day. In dry conditions, we’re clearly not where we wanted to be, especially on my side, I’m not at all happy with my balance, so we really need to work and try to resolve this for tomorrow. »
The former Sauber driver remains positive about the rest of the upcoming weekend: « I am quite confident, we know what the limitations are, we just need to find the solution to resolve them. »
As a result, the hope of the Monegasque, unlike Romain Grosjean, is on the weather, hoping for rain: “I really hope it will rain.” With the goal of pole position, he adds: “If it rains, why not, but still we lack a lot of aerodynamic support and I think it shows especially today on tracks like this where it’s very important to have a lot of it, so in the rain it will be complicated, but it might work.”
