Since his retirement from the tracks on the evening of his 2016 Formula 1 World Championship title, Nico Rosberg remains present in the paddock and comments on this 2019 season’s races on his vlog.

After the Hungarian Grand Prix, the German world champion made a little comment about his former best rival, Lewis Hamilton, suggesting that the latter was beginning to feel the weight of the years: “Experience will therefore surpass the slight decrease in your natural abilities as a human as you age.”

Nico Rosberg reacted to Lewis Hamilton’s relatively underwhelming performance during qualifying in Budapest, being beaten by Max Verstappen, whom the German describes as the best current driver.

Remarks that should reassure the fans of the British champion and perhaps provoke a reaction from Nico Rosberg. Especially since Lewis Hamilton added another layer on his Instagram account, without ever mentioning his former teammate, who will decide for himself if he should feel concerned by the message or not: « There will always be people who, in an attempt to keep their declining career alive, will use and tarnish the names of others who are successful. These people are truly sad and lost, and I feel pity for them, but we should not let them bother us. I’ve chosen not to care […] »
