Mercedes is a clear path to success. From the early beginnings between 2010 and 2013 and internal conflicts between Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg to the wisdom of a team that has very well understood the management of drivers and the management of motorsport.

From the start with Ross Brawn and Michael Schumacher, the goal was clear: win the title. 10 years later, mission accomplished? The answer is yes, obviously. No team has ever dominated the sport as much. Even though Mercedes is quite far from some records held by Ferrari, McLaren, or Williams, it has reigned supreme over Formula 1 since 2014. Scuderia and Red Bull have sometimes shown resistance, but they have never overcome the German giant.

For indeed, Mercedes is a colossus. Unshakeable, firmly grounded on solid foundations such as Toto Wolff, an incredible team director, or Lewis Hamilton, the true leader of this team. It’s this ability to always manage everything perfectly that sets the star brand apart from its competitors. Without always being the fastest, the silver team knows how to maximize every weak moment and turn it into success. And when others make mistakes, who benefits?

Certainly Mercedes sometimes takes away the on-track spectacle, but can we blame the German team for being so competitive? Before being entertainment, F1 is a sport. And as in any sport, the principle is to be the best. Mercedes is simply the best team of the contemporary generation of single-seaters.

In the pantheon of the best F1 teams, Mercedes has etched its name but more importantly that of the 2,000 people who work all year to make the next season even better than the last.
