The 2020 Williams line-up is now fully known. After the announcement of George Russell’s extension and Nicholas Latifi being named as a main driver, we now know the identity of the test driver.

This is about Roy Nissany, who had been in talks with Williams for several weeks to join the team. The Israeli will notably be tasked with participating in three free practice sessions throughout the season. The Tel-Aviv native is grateful for the opportunity given to him: “I am delighted to become an official test driver for ROKiT Williams Racing. It’s also a benchmark for motorsport in Israel. When I completed the first tests with the team in Abu Dhabi last December, I immediately felt comfortable in the car and with the team. The experience I will gain this year with Williams will be invaluable, and I am looking forward to starting, both on and off the track.”

Nissany should also participate in the F2 championship, a category he has already competed in during 2018, finishing last with only one point to his name.
