It’s an almost mandatory step for all Formula 1 teams. As if to showcase the end of hard work throughout the winter, the teams’ communication departments post a video on social media in which we hear the first engine start-up.

Mercedes was the first to release the sound of its 2020 engine, followed by McLaren and Ferrari.

It’s Renault’s turn to share the fruit of their labor. The turbo hybrid power unit assembled in Viry Chatillon, France, came together with the RS20 chassis in Enstone today.

The RS20 will be officially unveiled in Paris on February 12 at 2:30 PM in the presence of the leaders, team director Cyril Abiteboul, and the two Renault drivers, Daniel Ricciardo and Esteban Ocon.

The tricolore team will then fly to Spain to the Barcelona circuit to take part in winter testing from February 19 to 21, and then from February 26 to 28.

The Motors Inside team will be on site to share these moments with you on Instagram, Twitter, and the website.
