McLaren unveils a 2020 livery inspired by the team’s drivers
The Woking team unveiled its car for the 2020 season today. It features the team's historic papaya color but with a touch of cyan and black in a triptych form. The result has delighted many.

After liveries created in continuity for the top 3 teams, the fourth force on the grid presented an MCL35 with a differentiated look compared to the previous 2019 version and a switch to a matte finish.
During the presentation session, drivers Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris shared their thoughts. The Spaniard speaks of a car that looks more compact and slimmer. As for the British driver, he emphasizes the spirit of the single-seater, which is the result of a collaboration between the factory and the drivers.
Beyond the visual aspect, the stated ambition for this car remains above all to maintain continuity in terms of performance. Let’s remember, McLaren with its Renault engine is in direct competition with Renault F1 Team, a situation that will change from 2021 with McLaren’s switch to the Mercedes engine.
