Mercedes unveils a new livery for 2020
The Mercedes team unveiled today a livery to mark its commitment to improving diversity within the team and in Formula 1.

The Silver Arrows will sport a new livery for the 2020 season, a livery intended to underscore the team’s commitment to fighting racism and discrimination in all its forms.
The W11 from the German brand will therefore sport a black color for this very unique 2020 season. However, it will keep the colors of its main sponsors, such as Petronas green and Ineos red.
Toto Wolff, director of the German team, explained that racism and discrimination have no place in our society, our sport, or our team: it is a fundamental belief at Mercedes.
« We will not shy away from our weaknesses in this area, nor from the progress we still need to make; our commitment is our public pledge to act positively. »
« We aim to find and attract the best talent from the widest possible horizons and to create credible pathways for them to reach our sport, in order to build a stronger and more diverse team in the future. »
« I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our parent company Mercedes-Benz and our team family as well as the artists who have supported and encouraged this initiative. »
The #WeRaceAsOne can also be found on the mirrors and the message “End Racism” on the halo.
