After more than two weeks of enforced rest due to Coronavirus infection, Sergio Perez will finally be able to get back behind the wheel of his Racing Point, starting tomorrow.

The Mexican driver had to give his seat to Nico Hülkenberg for the two Grand Prix that took place in Great Britain, due to a positive Coronavirus test.

If the interim role was performed brilliantly, notably with a 3rd place in qualifying during the 70th Anniversary Grand Prix, Nico Hülkenberg will have to give his seat back to Sergio Perez. Although he was unable to participate in the British Grand Prix due to a mechanical issue, his second Grand Prix at the wheel of the Racing Point was far more successful.

Building on a 3rd place during the 70th Anniversary Grand Prix qualifying, he had a solid race, even staying ahead of his teammate for almost the entire event. Unfortunately, tire vibrations forced him to make one more pit stop than his teammate Lance Stroll, relegating him to an honorable 7th place at the finish.

This weekend, Sergio Perez will surely be eager to make up for the points lost during his recovery, on a track, however, known to be tough on both drivers and cars.
