In 2018, in Q2, Sebastian Vettel set the fastest lap on the circuit. Due to the rain hitting the circuit in Q3, no driver was able to beat the four-time world champion’s record that year.

5: With 5 pole positions, Lewis Hamilton is the most successful driver in qualifying on the Belgian circuit. He achieved this feat in 2008, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2018.

**6:** Michael Schumacher is the most victorious driver at Spa-Francorchamps. His first Formula 1 victory was in 1992 with Benetton on the legendary Belgian track. The German won 5 other races on this circuit.
