Carlos Sainz will not take part in the Belgian Grand Prix
Carlos Sainz's McLaren encounters a technical problem just before the start. The Spanish driver qualified 7th has to retire even before the race begins.

Bad news for the Spanish driver, McLaren has just announced that Carlos Sainz will not start this Belgian Grand Prix.
A problem with the exhaust on Sainz’s car prevented him from leaving his garage to join the starting grid. He was supposed to start from the 7th position in this Grand Prix. This spot will remain empty, and only 19 cars will start the race.
