1:31.387: After securing his first Formula 1 victory in Sochi in 2017, the Finn once again demonstrated a very good pace in 2018 by clinching the pole position and the track record at the same time with a time of 1:31.387. Unfortunately for Bottas, he had to give the victory to his teammate Lewis Hamilton, who was fighting for the championship.

2: If the Mercedes drivers have all secured a pole position on the track designed by Hermann Tilke, they are not the only ones. Although Ferrari has no victory in Russia, Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc have both set the fastest lap in qualifying once, in 2017 and 2019 respectively.

**4:** With four victories in Sochi, Lewis Hamilton is the most victorious driver in Russia. He won this race in 2014, 2015, 2018, and 2019.

**6:** With six victories, Sochi is a Grand Prix dominated by Mercedes. Indeed, inaugurated in 2014, the circuit located in the Russian Olympic Park has never seen any other single-seater win except the Silver Arrows.

**7:** It is the small number of different drivers to have stood on the podium in Russia. The only non-Mercedes and Ferrari driver to have achieved this is Sergio Perez in his Force India, who managed to take advantage of a collision between Kimi Räikkönen and Valtteri Bottas to claim his first and only podium of the season.

234: With 234 points scored in all the Russian Grand Prix in which Mercedes participated, the German team has scored twice as much as its closest rival, Ferrari (122 points).

150,000,000: This is the money spent by the Russian government to finance the construction of the Sochi circuit.
