Official: Stefano Domenicali new F1 boss in 2021
The former team principal of Scuderia Ferrari will succeed Chase Carey as head of F1 in January 2021.

A new boss for F1! Former director of Scuderia Ferrari from 2008 to 2014, Stefano Domenicali officially becomes the new CEO, meaning the new head of Formula 1.
At 55, the Italian replaces the American Chase Carey, who had planned his departure following the negotiations on the Concorde Agreements. Chase Carey had assumed his role in January 2017 with the arrival of Liberty Media. He will maintain a more discreet role as the non-executive chairman of Formula 1.

Today CEO of the car manufacturer Lamborghini, Stefano Domenicali will officially be inducted as CEO of Formula 1 in January 2021.
After Jean Todt, president of the FIA until the end of next year, here is another former Ferrari figure taking on a major role in the discipline: Domenicali had taken the helm of the Scuderia in 2008… following Jean Todt, with a constructors’ title under his belt the same year, Ferrari’s last title to date.
