Eifel Grand Prix – Free Practice 1: Session canceled due to weather
The FIA had to cancel this Free Practice 1 session because the rain and cloud cover prevented the medical helicopter from taking off.

A heavy rain is currently falling on the Ahrweiler region and its Nürburgring circuit. Rain that might not have stopped some drivers from taking to the track, but the conditions were not met to ensure the safety of the drivers. Indeed, the clouds are preventing the circuit’s medical helicopter from taking off.
Unfortunately, we won’t be running during FP1 ????
We know it’s frustrating – we want to see cars on track just as much as all of you! We sincerely thank you for your patience and understanding during this session#EifelGP ???????? #F1 pic.twitter.com/3J9oO1i1AN

A heartbreak for two drivers who hoped to make their first appearance behind the wheel of a Formula 1 car. Indeed, Mick Schumacher and Callum Ilott, drivers of the Ferrari Driver Academy, were supposed to take part in this free practice session.
Eyes remain fixed on the sky, with many hoping the weather conditions improve to make the second free practice session, scheduled for 3 PM, possible.
