Turkish Grand Prix: Verstappen finishes 6th and still under investigation
The troubles of Max Verstappen continue. After his ruined race highlighted by spins and pit stops, the Dutchman who finished in 6th place is under investigation by the race stewards.

The regulations prohibit crossing the white lines marking the lane of the single-seater when exiting the pits. While this rule is generally easily respected by the drivers, the lack of grip and the rapid loss of tire temperature make controlling the single-seater complicated.
Max Verstappen thus found himself on the white line, thereby breaching the regulations. It remains to be seen if the stewards will be lenient given the track conditions.
The incident was noted during the race, on the 21st lap, but the stewards decided to postpone the investigation until after the race. A decision that was surprising given the low number of incidents to handle during this phase of the race.
