Red Bull without its sporting director in Bahrain
Red Bull Racing announced that Jonathan Wheatley has tested positive for COVID-19. He will not be present this weekend in Bahrain.

It was during a routine test in England, before participating in the weekend in Bahrain, that the sporting director of Red Bull tested positive for COVID-19. He will isolate for 10 days in accordance with the protocols in force in England.
Red Bull explains that the role of sporting director will be shared among different team members for this Bahrain Grand Prix.
The team based in Milton Keynes wants to be reassuring and states that no other team member has tested positive. The team’s schedule for this weekend is therefore not altered.
This positive test is not the first since recently, Mario Isola, the head of Pirelli, and Simon Roberts, team director at Williams, have both tested positive for COVID-19.
