The FIA and F1 support Haas in the Mazepin case
It's the turn of the FIA and F1 to react to the video posted yesterday by Nikita Mazepin on his Instagram account. Through an official statement, these two organizations expressed their support for the Haas team.

The 21-year-old Russian driver has been in turmoil since the video, showing him having inappropriate behavior with a woman, was shared on Twitter. Nikita Mazepin’s behavior suggested a possible sexual assault, even though a statement from the woman involved described it more as a bad joke.
Haas F1 team, the future employer of the Russian driver in F1, did not fail to point out yesterday the « odious » nature of this video, while specifying that they are handling this matter internally.
The support of the International Automobile Federation and Formula 1 also wanted to announce their support for the American team Haas.
« We strongly support Haas F1 Team in its response to the recent inappropriate actions of its driver Nikita Mazepin. Mazepin has issued a public apology for his misconduct, and this matter will continue to be handled internally by Haas F1 Team. The ethical principles and diverse and inclusive culture of our sport are of the utmost importance in the eyes of the FIA and Formula 1.
