Romain Grosjean continues his career in IndyCar!
After his retirement from Formula 1, Romain Grosjean's motorsport career will continue in America.

A few months ago, in October, we learned of Romain Grosjean’s departure from the Haas F1 Team, which had chosen to completely change its driver lineup for the 2021 season. With a limited number of seats remaining in the top category of motorsport, the Frenchman’s career in F1 seemed uncertain, and it was becoming clear that it would either mean retirement or a change of discipline for him.
This is indeed a career change for the former Lotus, Renault, and Haas driver, who will race in IndyCar from this year with Dale Coyne Racing. This team joined the championship in 1984 and has won 6 races and secured 2 pole positions. In the last two seasons, out of 31 races, the American team has finished in the Top 10 twenty-four times. Romain Grosjean will potentially have more chances to finish in the points than in his last two seasons in Formula 1 with Haas.
Grosjean’s first IndyCar race will be on April 18th at Barber, giving enough time for his left hand to heal from his horrific accident in Bahrain. However, at his family’s request, he will not race on ovals, deemed too dangerous. He will only drive on street and road courses.
A new challenge that Romain Grosjean is eager to start: I had different options ahead of me for this upcoming season, and choosing to participate in IndyCar was definitely my favorite. It will be exciting to fight for podiums and win again. My left hand is still healing, but I’m about to get back in a race car and begin this next chapter of my career.
