Guanyu Zhou crowned F3 Asia champion! Pierre-Louis Chovet seconds him
The Asian F3 Championship returned its verdict this weekend, with China's Guanyu Zhou the winner.

A performing pool for the Alpine Academy
As he arrived in Abu Dhabi, the last round of the F3 Asia championship, with a 32-point lead over his Chinese rival, the Frenchman Pierre-Louis Chovet saw his title hopes slip away during the three races of the weekend.
Nevertheless, a six-time winner until this last round, the Frenchman was confident he would clinch the title. But he hadn’t counted on the determination of the Alpine Academy rider.
Guanyu Zhou fulfilled his contract by completing a perfect weekend. On the French side, underperformance in qualifying and races, combined with the misfortune of a collision, overcame this 32-point advantage.
In the end, Zhou finishes the season in style with a 14-point lead over his runner-up and 65 points over the third-place, Indian Jeha Daruvala.
Good omen for Alpine F1 Team, which will have plenty to draw on when the time comes.
