A livery dominated by royal blue.
After a black dress in the first images in mid-January, the A521 is adorned with a dominant royal blue, a metallic blue symbol of Alpine’s color, owned by Renault, and officially making its debut in Formula 1.
The presentation ceremony took place with Laurent Rossi, the new CEO of Alpine, instead of Cyril Abiteboul, who was dismissed this winter. Sports director Davide Brivio was also present, as well as French driver Esteban Ocon, but not Fernando Alonso.
Back with the French team, the double world champion stayed in Switzerland, officially due to the Covid restrictions for travel to the United Kingdom. The Spaniard is also recovering from his bike accident that occurred on February 11th.
