Max Verstappen has finally lost out to Lewis Hamilton to start the 2021 season

Despite starting from pole position, Max Verstappen failed to dominate Lewis Hamilton at the Bahrain Grand Prix!
The Dutch driver lost a duel that will certainly remain titanic, whether it be at a distance at the beginning of the race or wheel to wheel at the end. Although he did not manage to get the better of the seven-time world champion, Verstappen takes some positives from this opening race: « Of course, it’s a shame, but we have to focus on the positive: now we can fight against Mercedes, which is a good way to start the year. »
A complicated race on a mechanical level as well for the Red Bull driver with a differential that did not respond as he wanted: “I don’t know what happened with the differential. It never got resolved throughout the race. We will have to analyze that but despite that we managed to finish the race and score a lot of points.”
