Alpine presents its 2021 Esports drivers
Nicolas Longuet and Fabrizio Donoso, who were racing for Renault in 2020, have extended their contracts with Alpine to 2021, with the aim of fighting for the title.

For the 2021 F1 Esports Pro Series season, the Alpine F1 Team has decided to keep the lineup that Renault had in 2020. Nicolas Longuet and Fabrizio Donoso will therefore remain with the Entsone structure for another year.
The two drivers allowed the French team to secure 3rd place in the constructor’s championship. A good result for the diamond brand even though it was never really able to compete for the title against the Red Bull and Alfa Romeo titans. The Austrian team finished the season 195 points behind Renault.
Alpine’s objective will be to narrow this gap and establish itself as a rival for the crown rather than simply the third force on the grid. To do this, a restructuring of the eSports team has taken place. The team will no longer be Vitality but the Race Clutch organization, specialized in Sim Racing. In 2017, Race Clutch helped Fabrizio Donoso finish as runner-up in the inaugural season of F1 Esports.
Richard Arnaud, the president of Race Clutch seems very excited about this new partnership: The whole Race Clutch team is proud and eager to be part of the Alpine family! Our expertise and years of experience in Sim Racing will provide Alpine Esports with the best environment to continue competing at the front. The goal is to win championships, with the F1 Esports Series as the primary target. I believe in the team we have put together. I am confident that this collaboration will increase interest in the sport, bringing new F1 fans along with us, and opening up new opportunities for Alpine in the virtual racing world. It’s an exciting new journey beginning for Esports racing in France.
