Portuguese Grand Prix – Key figures
This weekend, the Portuguese Grand Prix welcomes the Formula 1 field for the third round of the 2021 World Championship. Here are the key figures.

18: This weekend, Portugal hosts the Formula 1 race for the 18th time. It is the second consecutive year that the Grand Prix is on the calendar, returning last year after a 24-year absence.
66: The number of laps to cover during the Grand Prix this weekend at the Autodromo Internacional de l’Algarve.
3: With 3 victories each, Alain Prost and Nigel Mansell are the drivers who have won the most in Portugal. If he wins on Sunday, Lewis Hamilton would join Sir Stirling Moss, the only other multiple winner on Portuguese soil (2 victories).

1:16.652: The time achieved last year by Lewis Hamilton in qualifying to get the pole position. Having hosted F1 only once, it is simply the track record at Portimão.
15: This is the number of turns in the Algarve International Circuit.
4: As the number of circuits that have hosted a Grand Prix in Portugal at least once. First, there was the Boavista circuit in the streets of Porto in 1958 and 1960.
Between the two, the Monsanto circuit in the suburbs of Lisbon hosted the 1959 edition. The Estoril circuit then appeared in 1984 to become an F1 classic until 1996. Finally, Portimão allowed the return of the Portuguese Grand Prix last year.
