Ocon unlucky from the early laps of the Azerbaijan GP
It was a complicated weekend for Esteban Ocon who had his fair share of frustration both on Saturday and Sunday.

As he had a chance to fight for finishing in the points, Esteban Ocon’s engine decided otherwise. It was on the fourth lap of the race that worrying smoke emerged from the A21’s exhaust at the entrance of the long straight line. Concerns were confirmed by a radio message indicating that the Norman had lost all power.
After a disappointing Saturday where he failed to make it to Q3, the Frenchman was confident in his and his car’s abilities to climb back up on Sunday. Unfortunately, this retirement puts an end to a streak of 4 consecutive points finishes for Esteban Ocon.
« We had a loss of turbo pressure. We didn’t have power anymore so we had to stop the race. It’s a shame because we had a good start, we were ahead of the two McLarens. I hope Fernando Alonso will be able to finish in the Top 10.
I can’t wait. It’s going to be great to go back to the Grand Prix at home. It’s been a long time since I rode there, so I’m really looking forward to going back. Especially since I heard there will be an audience. We can’t wait to turn things around there.
