Ferrari has appointed a new CEO
Starting September, Ferrari will be led by Benedetto Vigna, replacing Louis Camilleri.

Six months since Ferrari did not have a CEO. The Italian firm has found the replacement for Louis Camilleri, who resigned to everyone’s surprise. The prancing horse brand announced this Wednesday the appointment of Benedetto Vigna, who will take office on September 1st, just a few days before the Italian Grand Prix in Monza.
Last December, Louis Camilleri had suddenly resigned for personal reasons. The president of the Maranello firm had taken over in the interim pending a replacement.
Aged 52, Vigna had been an executive at the French-Italian multinational STMicroelectronics since 1995.
We are delighted to welcome Benedetto Vigna as the new CEO of Ferrari. His deep understanding of the technologies driving many of the changes in our industry, as well as his proven skills in innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership, will further strengthen Ferrari and its unique history around the passion for performance in the exciting era ahead, announced Ferrari’s president, John Elkann.
The future director of the brand has admitted that it is a special honor to join Ferrari as CEO and I do it with the same feeling of enthusiasm and responsibility. Enthusiasm for the great opportunities that are there to be seized. And with a deep sense of responsibility towards the extraordinary achievements and capabilities of the men and women of Ferrari, towards all stakeholders of the company and towards all those in the world for whom Ferrari is such a unique passion.
Bendetto Vigna will be responsible for Ferrari’s commercial health, both in terms of sports and road aspects.
