On the occasion of the French Grand Prix taking place this weekend, Charles Leclerc, like the French drivers, has also changed the design of his helmet. The Monegasque driver is reusing the colors he used in karting.

Accustomed to changing decorations on his helmet, Charles Leclerc arrives at Le Castellet with a new design for this weekend. The Ferrari driver had already sported different helmets on his helmets, first at Imola where he paid tribute to the tifosi, then at Monaco where he commemorated the memory of Louis Chiron.

Nineteen years after starting karting, Charles Leclerc will reuse this weekend, a helmet using the colors he wore during his first laps. In a Twitter post, the Monegasque explained the origins of this helmet.

Nineteen years later, I will once again use my first design, the one with which I started karting near here [at Castellet]. I remember, when I designed the helmet, Spider-Man was on TV and I tried to reproduce his spider web. I have many good memories of that part of my life, it will be special to wear it again.
