Already present in Formula 1, with graphics intended for viewers, Amazon Web Service (AWS) has partnered with Ferrari on June 18. The goal of their partnership will be to strengthen relationships with their fans through a new engagement platform. This platform will contain exclusive content and interactive applications to immerse Scuderia’s supporters in the daily life of the team and drivers.

The partnership between Amazon’s subsidiary and Ferrari will also be used for GT races, the Challenge series, as well as for their road cars to quickly obtain information on the design and performance of cars on the road and on the track, as specified in the AWS press release.

Ferrari and AWS are both exceptional in their respective fields of activity and I am happy to welcome a partner known for the excellence of its innovation and creativity. As the official cloud provider, AWS will be able to transform our company into a data-driven organization, leveraging the power of this technology not only to improve our products but also to better communicate with the millions of fans we have worldwide.

We chose AWS because of its constant search for innovation, wide range of machine learning solutions, and experience in supporting its partners globally. AWS is unrivaled in terms of its cloud services portfolio, including computer vision and machine learning, and we intend to leverage this to strengthen and accelerate our data analysis capabilities, said Mattia Binotto.

As part of their partnership, the AWS logo will now appear on the drivers’ overalls and on the SF21.
